Italkart 2005 Model's

The 2005 Italkart Supersonic's and Rapido's have arrived! Improvements have been made to each frame, including the components. Building on success from last year’s models, the 2005 chassis' were used in selected events, which powered Jordy Vorrath to dominant race victories in the chassis' debut. The 2005 Italkart's material has been re-worked in the layout for to further improve consitancy and versatility. Both model's can be used for a wide range of classes and tires.

The 2005 Italkart has a new steering column support that has been re-designed with a new look. It is much stronger than the previous model. The bottom steering shaft support has also been re-designed and strengthened.

The new seat brace is mounted on a gusset to the frame to improve flex and handling. The seat brace also is S shaped so that it is easier to mount larger seats and stick shift arms.

New bottom stick shift lever mount allows you to adjust the angle and distance. This eliminates play and offers smooth shifting.

New pedal mounting systems, which make it easier to adjust the throttle and eliminates pedal flex.

New engine stop which allows you to adjust chain tension and stops the engine from sliding back. Re-located for strength and durability.

Italkart has designed a new caliper brake mounting system, which has eliminated the steel plate that the calipers are mounted on. The cassette is now a lightweight compact package that is easy to adjust pre-load bearing tension bearing.
